5. If I cannot find UPI app for ICICI bank can I install Karnataka Bank UPI to access ICICI bank 
account?
Yes. Single UPI app works for all partner banks. For Example ICICI Bank account can be linked to Canara or Karnataka Bank UPI APP with 0 cost.

6. What is Virtual Address
Virtual Address is a bunch of characters can be your nick name ,email address, organisation name that you prefer followed by @kbl or @can . This address can be shared with the other party to receive funds.

7. Can I delete Virtual Address
Yes . You can delete Virtual account or free up the virtual address you had registered or used for transaction once.

8. What is MPIN?
MPIN is mobile internet banking transaction password that would have been given to you at the time of account opening. You can generate one By entering your Debit cards last 6 digit and expiry date. MPIN is usually of 4 character length with value ranging from 0 to 9.

9. Is UPI safe?
Yes. Transactions are 2 FA authorized. In a layman term 2 rounds of verification would be done for each transaction . For Example Karnataka Bank Smartz a UPI App would request login password and MPIN to transfer money to third party.

10. What is setup procedure of UPI APP 
Although there will be a synonym difference between each apps on a overview procedure is same.
  1. Install KBL Smartz, PNB UPI or Vijaya UPI or any bank UPI from Google Playstore.
  2. Register Full name, DOB,Email ID and mobile Number.
  3. You will be sent a pass code for authentication.
  4. New screen would ask for Virtual Address- Type any- Prefer Email ID text .
  5. Create Password . You will be requested to enter twice.
  6. Setup MPIN by Entering last 6 digit of Debit card and expiry details.
  7. ADD benificiary-Beneficiary can be aadhar number , Mobile number, Virtual Address or normal Bank account number with IFSC code.
  8. Send or receive money.
11. How to pay money through UPI in restaurant?
There are 2 ways to do payment .
1. Share your virtual Address to Cashier. He will generate request to your UPI . You can approve for payment through your UPI.
2. Scan and PAY- Most of the UPI apps provider scan and pay functionality.

12. What can be beneficiary address?
1. Enter VPA- Virtual Address
2. Or Mobile Number +MMID (7 digit number shared by Bank)
3. Or Bank Account Number +IFSC Code
4. Aadhar Number


13. Can we have single Virtual Address (VPA) for multiple account?
Yes. One can have single VPA which can be associated with all his bank accounts. There is a selection option to specify default receiver and default sender account.

14. Can I transfer money abroad using UPI?

No. Transfer feature works only inside India and for Bank accounts associated with UPI.
