Dudhsagar Falls is closed for tourists - June 2020

Indian Railways has made Dudhsagar falls inaccessible this july by calling no stop at Dudh sagar falls. Although there was no official stop at Dudhsagar station Indian Railway had made provision of stop in Dudhsagar falls for few years. After certain accidents IR has now decided to stop halting in station  leading many trekkers and tourists from Karnataka and Goa in deject mode.

Update 8.Jun.2020 : Although Indian government has approved opening of many tourist locations in India, Dudhsagar is yet to get approval from authorities. So tourists who were looking for Dudhsagar to open on 8th Jun may need to wait till September mid or October as the falls get closed for monsoon.

Well the happy news is Goa Tourism Ministry is thinking of getting a new train from Vasco to Dudhsagar which is expected in a year or two.
