With the Advent of new terms and conditions anyone may access your mail with the permission from Yahoo Verizon Oath.
The terms and conditions goes as below

 sites and apps with information that we have about you
                               
                   Providing anonymised and aggregated
 reports to other parties regarding user trends
                 
                 We’ve joined Verizon.
 By joining Verizon, Oath and its affiliates may share the

What does this terms and condition mean
In case a company like Cambridge Analytica does use data then company may call it as their affiliates to save themselves from bankruptcy or any other law in any country.
Recently Paytm too did tried similar way regarding Aadhar detail as they had seen blunder from Airtel money.

Experts says that there is need of a body formulated in each country to govern these forms by laws and terms and conditions.
